Aussies are SO Polite!
Kevlar took the waterproof camera for a swim as the boats left the beach. How many guys say "Thank You!" as they get run over?

Opening Ceremony
We made it! The opening ceremony was a huge celebration of Weihai to start the event. They had dancing, music, Chinese opera... fireworks and dignitaries. Wow!!! they put a lot into this event! There were thousands of people here to view the show followed by watching the sailors prepare their boats for the races. The cameras were out in mass. Seems they really like Hooper's beard here in China, but by far the blond hair of the pretty young crews were tops! The girls were surrounded by paparazzi! Btw... Rod Waterhouse wins the first and only race of the day and they are back on the beach.
